If you would like to try out a train sim with a 60fps frame rate, check out “OpenBVE” for Ubuntu. (The Windows version only works with Windows XP).

I have tested this train sim on version 11.10 of Ubuntu, and it’s okay. There is one problem – you need to use the Synaptic Package manager to install a library, if this particular library is not already installed on your system.

In the Synaptic Package manager, you need to install “libmono”
This file name is “libmono-i18n4.0-all”.

It may already be installed.
